	The photo at the bottom of this page is marked "1939," but I suspect that it may have actually been taken in the fall of 1941.  As best as I can tell, it shows my father standing in the Sipe showroom beside a new 1942 pickup truck. The image is much enlarged from a tiny scratched original which seems to have been torn from a sheet of contact prints.  I spent some time figuring out how to scan the image in high resolution, then retouching it (including darkening the background relative to the foreground).
