Finally,
when the telecast is over and we've put all our toys away in the
production truck, all that will remain will be the hike up Cardiac
Hill to where we've parked in the OC lot.
This
is the view looking south from that lot. As you can see, it's
higher than the Petersen Center roof. From photometric
analysis, I estimate that the difference in altitude between the
loading dock and the lot is 112 feet. (Update: Google
Earth agrees. The altitude of the pavement at the entrance to
the loading dock ramp is 1,056 feet above sea level, and on the
surface of the OC lot it's 1,168 feet.) We'll need to climb
more than 10 stories from our job site to our cars.
