This website is like an autobiographical book with hundreds of articles.

My full name is Thomas Buckingham Thomas. People call me Tom,
but I chose the fancier "T.
Buckingham Thomas" for
this site. My Biography
is a brief sketch; for details, click on the numerous links provided.
Then each of the twelve colorful buttons takes you to a submap with
the most ancient topic first, plus related "short subjects."
Other submaps include audio clips
and Threads of Correspondence.
To search for a given article, you can try the following.
First click on one of these three tools, and a search bar will appear.
Replace
the last two characters (ql)
with the text that you seek, and click. Now you should see a
list of articles. Once you've found the one you're searching
for, click on it.
However,
there are two possible kinds of URLs:
https://www.t2buck.com/aboutsite.htm
https://t2buck.com/aboutsite.htm
The
first kind sometimes fails. If you do get an error message, go
to your address bar, delete the four www.
characters, then click again.
I
brought dozens of boxes home after my father's funeral in 1999:
photos, letters, writings. Since I have no children myself,
they might never be appreciated again. And there are more
stories to tell.
So,
in light of my own mortality, I resolved to make part of my archives
available to you, dear reader. In October of 2000, I began
posting material on the Internet at geocities.com/tbtho. More
than eight years later, I finally got a domain
of my own, t2buck.com.
The
current host informs me that during the month of February 2024, my
website had 1,427 unique visitors (85% of them from North America)
and they viewed 4,277 pages.
Enjoy!
Not all the articles may interest you, but you'll find the
occasional small gem. Then come back later and browse some more!
